With expertise in English Literature and Language Education, she has trained extensively across India and South Asia, working with the British Council and Cambridge English Assessment. Passionate about Gender and Sexuality Studies, she has published research and columns on platforms like The Wire and Feminism in India, contributing to discussions on crossdressing and trans identities. Shyaonti is also a trained Kathak dancer and poet.
